Updated: Mar 31, 2020

Hello all you lovely people! I know it’s a Monday & we are all caught up with so much that we have to do. Power through the day guys, but also hear me out.

I know I have already spoken at length about how organisation & breaking down your daily tasks can help you achieve your goals but have you ever given a thought to revamping your office / stationery supplies?!

I truly believe that an aesthetic looking desk can boost up your energy like you cannot even imagine! With this in mind, I have tried to list out my top 5 stationery items that will not just make your desk pretty but will also aid you to just go get that goal with much more ease & fun!

Planner & Desk Calendar:

No points for guessing this one, lol! A planner can change your entire game. There is so much happening in our lives & there is still so much that we want to do, but don't we often end up missing or messing up some little things here & there? That's where comes in a planner where you can jot down your day, week, month & apparently your whole work schedule. Not just your work bits, but you can also track your habits, mood, water intake and MUCH more!

It might seem like an extra task if you are a newbie here, but once you get the hang of it, you will be surprised how much you can reflect on your own work! It gives you a feedback of your own & a completely different perspective of the things around.

You can find a number of planners as per your utility in the stationery stores around your home & even online that you can select as per your liking & budget. Also in the beginning you can keep it simple & as you grow fond of it, you can go ahead & get yourself something more engaging.

Whatever there is in your mind, it's always better to just get it out on paper. This clears your head & gives you more clarity on all your ideas. I ensure that I have a couple of different colored pens handy at all times.

Personally love using Uniball, Pilot and Reynolds Trimax. I have them in a number of colours, and even if that makes me look like an 8 year old, I have no regrets, haha!

Below are the links to get these on Amazon, in case you want to check them out.

Again, one of my favorite things on my desk, are a couple of highlighter pens. Of course all of us know what a highlighter does, but what I am trying to highlight here is that it makes any content pop out from the rest & gives you the exact feels or reminders when you come back to read it later. While reading a book, highlighting your favorite lines allows you to refresh the memories of the book & let's face it, who doesn't love that? :D

I will link some of my specials below that you can go & check out.

White Board:

It is scientifically proven that having a white board gives you a vision of all your plans, which eventually helps you in imagining how your work will unfold. If you are a beginner, get yourself a small sized board & just start by writing your day’s or week’s agenda on it & keep ticking them off your list once you are done with them. You will see that by the end of it, you will be oddly satisfied & also get a clear picture of what needs to be done next. If required, you can switch to a bigger board, if you feel like it. Link to the whiteboard that I purchased recently has been linked here.

Post it Notes:

Having beautiful colors around your workspace always lifts up your spirits. Post it notes happen to be my favourites whenever I have to jot down some very little but important tasks. It allows you to remember the smallest of details that help elevate the quality of your work. While working, we all remember the major points related to the project, but we tend to skip some of the minor details here and there. This is where these notes come in very handy.

Therefore, I'd highly recommend you to pick up some of those colorful stickers & use them for your planning, and in turn, also brighten your workstation up!
